The massage courses of Brandon Raynor has been held on a regular basis in Australia since 1997.

Persons completing our massage courses in Australia are fully able to practice afterwards, to set up their own business or work as they see fit.

They will also be able to get fully comprehensive medical malpractice insurance after completing the course.





Brandon massagingOur massage training  school actually started in Sydney, Australia where we held our massage courses in Bondi Junction in 1997. At that stage our courses were for 8 weeks on Saturday mornings at the Bondi Pavilion. In 2000 we moved to Brisbane and started teaching there, opening up the Paddington House of Natural Therapies. These courses were very successful as people were crying out for a massage course that was practical, hands on and without all the filler subjects that a lot of the other massage schools had to offer.

By 2001 we started to offer our massage courses in Murwillumbah and the Gold Coast and then later on we expanded to offer our massage courses in Melbourne. These were originally held at the Firm n Fold Massage Table Factory in Collingwood and later at the Melbourne Rowing Club and the Northcote Town Hall. We now hold our massage courses in North Melbourne.

We also held our massage courses in Darwin, Perth and Adelaide and in 2002 we held our first massage course in Hobart, Tasmania. We now hold courses all over Australia and have expanded into 11 different countries.

Student learning massage techniques 

Our school teaches our 5 day Raynor Massage Certificate Course and our Raynor Massage Diploma Course in all the locations that we teach our massage courses. In major cities Brandon Raynor, the founder of the school teaches his Advanced Massage Diploma Course. Persons completing our massage courses in Australia are fully able to practice afterwards, to set up their own business or work as they see fit.

They will also be able to get fully comprehensive medical malpractice insurance after completing the course.

Woman massaging Our 5 day Raynor Massage Certificate Courses in Australia are an intensive combination of deep tissue massage, remedial massage, acupressure, Swedish and therapeutic massage plus a lot of our own techniques. Our Raynor Massage Diploma Course also includes an introduction to aromatherapy and an introduction to foot and hand reflexology.

These two massage courses may be useful for those wanting to get Australian Government qualifications. Once a student completes the training with us, the student can then apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL or credits) towards a Government Accredited Australian Massage qualification. Therefore, Recognition of Prior Learning for the practical aspects of that course will be considered. Many students with previous health qualifications may also be exempt from further subjects and be able to receive a Government accredited IV quicker after completing our course.

Brandon Raynor demonstrates massage If a student completes our Diploma of Raynor Massage they may gain further recognition of prior learning. In addition, if you are already a nurse or other health practitioner, you may be exempt from further subjects. The combination course gives a student a more rounded education in the area of massage practice. If you go on to complete Government accredited qualifications, you then can apply for health fund rebates for your clients.

By gaining Government accreditation, it may open more doors for you to work around the world. For example, Brandon can practice in Hawaii using his Australian Government Accredited Diploma of Remedial Massage.
