Scope and General Purpose:
Perform professional massage therapy and body treatments and remain current with the industry.
Provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service.

Responsibilities:
Perform all 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120-minute massage and body treatments, as certified/trained to do so.
Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectation.
Review of information in Spa Soft, including guest notes prior to each treatment.
Review of medical history/waiver
Maintain clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring equipment for body treatments and personal equipment in safe working order.
Maintain an ample supply of massage oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area.
Courteously interact and answer all facility-related questions for members and guests.
Serve as catalyst to promote spa services to members and hotel guests.

Job Description:
The responsibility of the Massage Therapist is to provide REO guests with quality massage
and spa type services during their stay.

Massage:
Provide different types of massages and of different lengths of time.
Create a schedule for REO guests to sign up for massages.
Be available for massages from 9 am to 10 pm when there are guests at the resort.
Develop a medical questionnaire for guests to read and sign prior to any massage.
Maintain a tidy and sanitary massage room and an adequate stock of massage supplies.

Administration:
Document all massages, including name of guest, confirmation number and total cost.
Provide Trading Post manager with records of all massages given.
Include medical questionnaire with records.
Provide invoices to General Manager each two weeks for payment.

Marketing:
Greet guests as they arrive and let them know of the services that you provide.
Encourage guests to sign up for massages.
Mingle with guests around the resort and at meals to promote massage services.
Create signs for around the resort to promote the massage services.
Remind trip leaders and other resort staff to mention that massages are available during
pre-trip briefings and during other announcements.

Compensation:
REO splits revenue 50/50 with masseuse.
REO covers the cost of all massage supplies needed.
Guaranteed minimum 50 hours of massages per month (July and August) provided that
reasonable efforts are made to promote services.

Room and board:
REO provides all meals for staff; Cost is $400/mth for July and August; prorated for June.
